Teaching timetable:
A summary of the results of a survey of students' views on students' personal teaching timetables is included below. The results will be published on this page in due course. For further details, please contact Julie Pendleton, Timetabling Manager j.a.pendleton@reading.ac.uk.
Summary of results
- 1,996 responses were received (20% response rate)
- Most of the respondents to the questionnaire were happy with the current system - 80% of students responded that they found the online timetable "easy and straightforward" to use; 79% of students found the information "is presented clearly and logically".
- When asked to suggest any improvements, 82% of students submitted comments - although it should be noted that, of the student comments, 11% said that no changes were needed. The most common suggestions related to more direct access to the view of the personal timetable, clearer layout, a timetable app and links to campus maps.
A project is currently reviewing the teaching timetable.
