Background
Tina's painting practice is mediated through an expanded framework that engages with Painting as a contemporary, generic subject of contemplation.
Her recent PhD entitled: Re-conceptualising Painting(P) through the lens of Hysteria, takes an historical approach to Painting. In this practice-based project, she considers how Painting(P) as a generic contemporary subject has been rendered hysterical and the implications of that hystericisation on Painting(P) today.
