My main research interests have primarily focused on investigating the role of diet on body composition with a particular interest in gene-nutrient interactions. I am interested in how different macronutrient compositions and genotypes influence body composition, fat distribution and metabolic health. The role of appetite regulation in this context is also of interest. My aim is to understand how macronutrients interact with appetite regulation to improve body composition and fat distribution. I also explore the role of diet in managing changes in body composition, appetite and metabolic health in older adults, aiming to improve the quality of life and health outcomes in aging populations.Research centres and groups
