Clearing your Browser Cache & Cookies
Having issues with a website?
If you are having trouble logging on to a web page on reading.ac.uk that requires authentication, this may be caused by invalid information being stored within the browser on your device. Clearing your browser cache and cookies will delete the incorrect stored information and require you to log in again.
Try the following, in this order:
Easiest: Use a different browser – not all websites work properly in all browsers.
Then: Use an incognito or private window – this doesn’t use your stored information and requires you to re-enter credentials to the website.
Finally: Clearing website cache and cookies – this clears the information that is stored in your browser, and will require you to re-enter credentials to the website.
