Supporting students in SPPE to get placement years and internships. One to one advice sessions with Part 1 and Part 2 students as well as those currently on placement. Leading placement modules to prepare students to make their best applications.

Areas of interest

I am mum to two boys who keep me very busy. I love all things psychology, especially around self development. In my free time I enjoy music and singing, hiking in the West Berkshire countryside and reading science fiction.

Background

I have worked in education for over twenty years. Since 2006 I have worked in career development roles and have worked in all areas of education: higher education, further education and secondary education. I am excited to be working at the University of Reading and supporting SPPE students with their career development.

  • MSc Occupational Psychology from Cardiff University
  • Level 6 in Careers Information, Advice and Guidance from Open University
  • BSc Hons Psychology from Bangor University
