My main area of interest is in the field of corpus linguistics. I am currently investigating the impact of Study Abroad programmes on the language skills of translation students. Additionally, I'm studying the way in which Short Study Abroad experiences affect the psycho-affective factors involved in foreign language learning, all framed by a decolonizing and intercultural approach examined through mixed research methods. Secondary lines of research include language of instruction, second language acquisition, and learning contexts.
Teaching
I convene and teach:
- Advanced Spanish I (SP1L3, SP2L3, SP3L3)
- IWLP Spanish 3 (LA1PS3).
I also co-teach:
- Beginners Spanish Language (SP1L1).
