Minghella Studios is the home of the Department and the hub of our activities. It's a bright, open and flexible collection of spaces that reflect how we teach and explore film, theatre and television.

As a Department with a longstanding commitment to combining theory and practice, we think it's important to create an environment where critical thinking and creative development work together.

Our theatre spaces, cinema auditorium, film and TV studio and post-production suites support teaching and research at every level.

Minghella Studios isn't just a space for work but a place where we socialise and bond to create some truly amazing practical projects. We're so lucky to have our own bespoke building, filled with resources and equipment that make anything possible.
