Templates for staff

We have a range of MS Office templates to enable staff to produce items that are:

  • internal-facing
  • low profile
  • going to be circulated in low numbers e.g. not published on the website, print run below 50 copies
  • possible to create without deviating from one of the Office templates

The templates can be found on the MS Office templates for staff page.

Please note that you will need a good level of understanding of Microsoft Office software, especially how to use styles in Word. If you are not confident in Office, training videos and information is available on the IT Help and Support page.

Templates for students

We offer a research poster template in PowerPoint, which can by Undergraduate and Postgraduate students to present their work for modules or conferences. These can be found on the Conference Posters page.

Does it need to be professionally designed?

Items need to be designed professionally if they fit into one or more of the following categories:

  • high profile
  • external-facing
  • audience of over 50 people e.g. PDF on public website or more than 50 printed copies
  • there is no MS Office template available for staff
