Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies
Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Body (PSRB) accreditation describes the accreditation, approval or recognition of specific programmes by bodies such as the Royal Society of Chemistry or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Accreditation satisfies external Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies that learning and achievement by students at the University meet national professional Benchmarks. The award of an accredited degree may allow a graduate to qualify for a particular type of employment, or may gain exemption from PSRB examinations.
The following registers provide details of all programmes at the University of Reading which were accredited, approved, validated or recognised by PSRBs for 2023-2024:
- Undergraduate Register of Professional Statutory and Regulatory Bodies 2024 2025
- Postgraduate Register of Professional Statutory and Regulatory Bodies 2024 2025
The following spreadsheet contains expanded versions of the UG and PGT registers, providing more detailed information about the accreditations (including dates of the most recent accreditation and the end date for renewal). They are intended as a point of reference for Schools to assist in the management of their accreditations.
Please email a.l.penn@reading.ac.uk or cqsd-tandl@reading.ac.uk to notify us of any changes or amendments to the data contained within these registers during the course of the academic year; amendments will be made accordingly, and the internal and external facing registers (where appropriate) will be republished at regular intervals throughout the year to ensure regulatory compliance with the Discover Uni dataset (formerly Unistats) and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
