Cybernetics is the study of interacting systems. These are of most interest when they are difficult to predictably. I am the University of Reading professor of interactive systems.
My research interests centre on measuring and understanding human interactions, especially when they involve haptics interaces, robots, or exoskeletons, but also if they involve simple things like chairs.
