The University of Reading has been a part of the communities of Shinfield and Arborfield for many years. Operating Hall Farm and other land in the area, the University's positive impact on the local economy has long been established. As time has passed, we have sought new ways to use our land for the benefit of the local people and the environment. Our initiatives have included developments ranging from high-tech commercial laboratories and new homes to green spaces and community facilities.
