About the day
This free event is a great opportunity to explore the Law course and get a taste of studying the subject at undergraduate degree level. You’ll meet our staff and students, explore our beautiful Whiteknights campus and discover the benefits of studying Law at Reading. You'll also take part in interactive lectures to immerse yourself in the subject.
This taster day will be held at our Whiteknights Campus and will run from 09:30 to 15:30, giving you plenty of time to meet our academic community.
Take part in interactive taster sessions
These sessions will be led by our expert academics and delivered in Foxhill House, our dedicated Law building.
The defence of necessity in murder cases
We will explore the moral and philosophical issues raised by this defence, examine key case law in England and Wales, and debate whether the current law is satisfactory.
Renting Law
This Land Law session introduces you to the legal principles governing renting. You’ll apply what you’ve learnt to real-world scenarios, just as a Law student would.
