Our MSc Construction Management is an international programme of advanced management studies for the modern construction industry.
The distinctive focus of the MSc Construction Management course is on the management of the construction firm, including:
- finance
- organisation
- project procurement
- contracts for design and construction
- information and communication technologies in the construction sector
- client, developer, financier and investor expectations.
This course is ideal for graduates from any discipline seeking a professional qualification that leads to employment in a profession using financial, managerial, and property design skills.

Accreditation
This programme is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). Accreditation is reviewed periodically. Successful completion of this course satisfies the academic requirements for membership of CIOB and RICS.

Flexible learning
Our MSc Construction Management degree is offered as a one-year full-time programme, and as a flexible modular programme that can be taken over two years from September, or over three years from February. It is delivered through intensive residential weeks at our Whiteknights campus in Reading and supported by a professional online learning environment.

Well-equipped facilities
Our facilities include a resource room and a dedicated computer lounge for students. It's equipped with an array of digital technology and software, including building information modelling (BIM), 3D laser scanning, building energy simulations and urban microclimate simulations.
You will have access to our immersive virtual reality systems. There is also laboratory space and experimental equipment to support student research projects.
