Tuition fees for international students
For 2025/26, standard fees for international students are:
- £25,250 a year for non-laboratory courses
- £29,950 a year for subjects with significant laboratory study or workshop content
- £22,500 for the first year of an integrated international foundation year, followed by the standard course fees for the standard duration of your bachelor's level study.
For 2024/25, standard fees for international students are:
- £22,350 a year for non-laboratory courses and International Foundation Programmes
- £27,650 a year for subjects with significant laboratory study or workshop content.
These are normally paid in two instalments. Your tuition fees will be fixed at the same level for the standard duration of your course, so there will be no year-on-year increase during your studies.
Other costs
In addition to the living, accommodation, and other course costs outlined on the previous pages, you’ll also need to budget for travel to and from your home country, plus the cost of a visa application and the immigration health surcharge.Please contact our Immigration Advice Team for more details. You should make sure you have enough money to cover all costs well in advance of coming to Reading. There may be support available. Consult your local British Council/Education Counselling Service office.
