06 July 2022
An increasing number of University of Reading students provided feedback on their experience through the National Student Survey.
In total, 2,325 University of Reading undergraduate finalists participated in the National Student Survey this year, with a response rate of 72%, up from 71% in 2021. Overall student satisfaction at the University of Reading has gone up to 80% this year from 74% in 2021.
Professor Robert Van de Noort, Vice-Chancellor at the University of Reading said:
“I am pleased that so many of our students shared their experiences with us in this year’s National Student Survey.
"It is fantastic to see an increase in overall student satisfaction and to see improvements in important areas like ‘Organisation and Management’ and ‘Student Voice’.
"The experience students have here at Reading is down to the hard work of colleagues from across the University, and I am very grateful for all your outstanding contributions, demonstrated by this year’s results.
"We are always pleased to have such positive feedback from our students, and the NSS results also give us an opportunity to pause and reflect on the areas where we can improve.
"Partnership with our students and Student’s Union, feedback through the NSS and from colleagues enables us to enhance the experience at Reading. So again, I am grateful to all of those who partner with us and have their say.”
