Reading improves position in THE World University Rankings 2022

The University of Reading has raised its score in every measure of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2022, while improving its UK ranking for a fourth successive year.
Reading ranked higher than 12 months ago in every measure of the latest rankings, which score universities on their teaching and research reputation, research income and international outlook, among other metrics.
While the University maintained its 201-250 ranking out of 1,662 participating universities worldwide, its UK ranking improved to 29 out of 101 - Reading's highest UK position since 2015.
The University has consistently been one of the most internationally focused institutions worldwide and improved its position from 81 to 78 this year.
Other notable improvements were achieved in scores for teaching, impact of research citations, and industry income.
