University of Reading rises in QS World University Rankings 2022

The University of Reading has risen three places in the QS World University Rankings 2022, placing Reading at 202 in the world.
The improvement in position compared to the 2021 edition is due to a boost in Reading's reputation with academics and employers, and places the University of Reading as the 27th highest ranked university in the UK out of 90 scored.
Professor Robert Van de Noort, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Reading, said: "Reading has been a global university from our foundation. The league table ranks the performance of 1,300 universities globally, from more than 6,400 institutions nominated.
The University of Reading performed particularly strongly in measures of international focus, with high ratios of international faculty and students placing Reading at 148 and 126 in the world, respectively. Reading also improved its scores for its reputation with international academics and employers.
