- Dr Ella Gilbert (Meteorology) was on a Sky News panel and appeared on The Bunker podcast to discuss government pledges to tackle climate change. Dr Gilbert also spoke to BBC Radio Berkshire about deforestation - the latest big announcement from COP26.
- Professor Nigel Arnell (Meteorology) has written a blog for The Conversation on the impact of global temperatures rising by 3% instead of the agreed 1.5%. The post also appears on The Economic Times, and Deccan Herald.
- Professor Ed Hawkins (Meteorology) spoke to BBC News 24 at COP26 about reducing methane emissions and deforestation; and BBC Wales about where the inspiration for the climate stripes graphic came from. Professor Hawkins' comments on the need for more colours to represent the warming world in his climate stripes graphic feature in The Independent and Yahoo News UK; an ITV News Online report on climate change quoted Professor Hawkins; and Hello Magazine reported that the 'Good Morning America' staple, Ginger Zee, wore the climate stripes.

- Professor Tim Dixon (Built Environment) spoke to BBC Radio Berkshire about the best ways to make our homes energy efficient.
COVID-19: expert comment on the pandemic
- Professor Ian Jones (Biological Sciences) was quoted by The Science Times on the importance of being aware and prepared for what could be the next cause of a global pandemic, and he was quoted by The Washington Time and Eminetra on the unlikelihood that allergic reactions can occur from the Covid-19 vaccination.
- Dr Simon Clarke (Biological Sciences) was quoted by Brink Wire on the effectiveness of Covid-19 vaccinations; he was interviewed by Russia Today on speculation that the Pfizer vaccine has serious flaws; and TalkRadio on booster jabs.
