COVID-19: expert comment on the pandemic
- Dr Simon Clarke (Biological Sciences) spoke to LBC Radio about Chief Medical Officer Professor Chris Whitty’s comments about the pandemic being far from over; and BBC Radio Hereford and Worcestershire about the Test and Trace system. He is quoted by the Daily Mail and dozens of regional titles, including the Reading Chronicle, on research into whether it is possible to predict who is likely to become seriously ill from Covid.
- Dr Al Edwards (Pharmacy) is quoted by Medscape on lateral flow test accuracy and their use as restrictions are eased.
