Today, thousands of people around the world are expected to show their stripes and share the warming stripes created by Professor Ed Hawkins’ (Meteorology) on the summer/winter solstice. News coverage has appeared so far on Mirage News, The Hill and MSN News. Organisations to have shared the graphics on social media so far include the World Meteorological Organization, the IPCC and broadcasters.
