We are undertaking an upgrade to the RISIS system on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 April 2025.


The RISIS portal and helpdesk will be unavailable while this upgrade is in progress from 08:00 BST on Wednesday 9 April 2025. We anticipate that the RISIS portal and helpdesk will be accessible again in the early evening of Thursday 10 April 2025.


This page will be updated if there is any change to timings, alongside the DTS Systems Status page .


Staff, students and applicants are unable to log in at present. All functions are currently disabled. If you wish to add additional information to a Helpdesk online query, you can still do so by replying to the email you received regarding that query. New queries can also be sent by emailing helpdesk@reading.ac.uk with your enquiry: your query will be actioned when the RISIS portal is available again. All staff are aware of this downtime and that this may affect submission of assignments, uploading of references, completion of application forms, viewing of exam timetables and all other portal-based functions.
