Summary module description:
You can choose one of 10 languages from beginner stage upwards. Languages offered include: Arabic, British Sign Language, Chinese Mandarin, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Modern Greek, Russian and Spanish.
Aims:
Students should be aware that IWLP language modules are usually not covered by the University£s requirement to take specific learning difficulties into account when assessing work. For queries contact iwlp@reading.ac.uk.
This module is intended for students who can only attend the University of Reading for one term. It is not available to students who can attend for a complete year. This module aims to develop the knowledge of the target language which students already possess. It will provide them with a more thorough understanding of its grammatical structures, and allow them to communicate at a higher level in both spoken and written language.
