This module aims to provide students with the experience of study of English literature in a foreign European institution.

Assessable learning outcomes:
By the end of the module students will be expected to

• Demonstrate the ability to meet the demands of their host institution
• rerspond appropriately to the work and assessment set by the host institution
• Organise and articulate in writing a coherent written argument

Outline content:
Students will take approved modules at the host institution equivalent to 20 credits.
Students will be required to meet the deadlines and assessment methods of the host institution.

Teaching and assessment will follow a pattern set by the host university and approved by the University of Reading.

Penalties for late submission:

The Module Convenor will apply the following penalties for work submitted late:

• where the piece of work is submitted after the original deadline (or any formally agreed extension to the deadline): 10% of the total marks available for that piece of work will be deducted from the mark for each working day[1] (or part thereof) following the deadline up to a total of five working days;
• where the piece of work is submitted more than five working days after the original deadline (or any formally agreed extension to the deadline): a mark of zero will be recorded.
