As Academic Literacy and Language Liaison for Henley Business School (HBS) and the International Capital Market Association (ICMA), I oversee in-sessional subject-specific provision for international postgraduate students. In this role, I am responsible for convening and teaching 4 modules which include Academic Writing for Business Management, Academic Writing for Business Management and Accounting, Academic Writing for Accounting and Finance, Academic English for Finance.

As ISLI Examinations Officer, I oversee assessment activities across various ISLI programmes such as the English for Academic Purposes Pre-sessional Programme, Foundation Programme, Academic English Programme and Global Graduates Programme. I also ensure implementation of the university-wide and the central university Exams Office policies and procedures and contribute to their development in order to enhance assessment practices.

In this role, I’m currently involved in an Enhancing Digital Assessment Project aiming to 'improve the quality, security and flexibility of EAP assessments delivered on ISLI programmes through piloting a digital assessment platform‘.

As a Co-Chair for Women@Reading, I'm committed to strengthening UoR community ties and raising awareness about equality, diversity, inclusion, and well-being - issues often overshadowed by life's pressures. I would also like to widen the audience for Women@Reading’s work and make what we do accessible to more colleagues in different roles.

As BALEAP Testing Officer, I am responsible for bringing national and international assessment specialists together in order to develop assessment literacy among EAP Practitioners. The main projects I have been leading on in this capacity are BALEAP Assessment Roadshows and the project of revisiting BALEAP Guidelines on English Language Tests for University Entry.
