Areas of interest

My primary research is in the foundations of mathematics, specifically focused on the role of choice sequences in the intuitionistic foundation of mathematics. I also have a small project ongoing in hyperbolic geometry, and the development of a python library for drawing scaled hyperbolic diagrams.

Background

I completed my PhD in mathematics (focusing on choice sequences in the foundations of intuitionistic mathematics) in 2017. I spent 2018 and part of 2019 working as a programmer in industry before completing my PGCE in 2020. I came to Reading in 2021, after working for INTO Manchester.
