Codex Committee on Processed Fruits and Vegetables, (20th Session)
The Committee:
- Forwarded the draft revised Codex Standard for Applesauce, draft revised Codex Standard for Canned Pears and the draft Codex Standard for Kimchi to the Commission for final adoption;
- Forwarded the proposed draft Guidelines for Packing Media for Canned Fruits and the draft Codex Standard for Canned Stone Fruits to the Commission for preliminary adoption;
- Decided to consider the draft Codex Standard for Aqueous Coconut Products at its next meeting based on comments submitted;
- Returned the draft Codex Standard for Pickled Products and the draft Codex Standard for Bamboo Shoots for circulation, comment and further consideration at its next meeting;
- Decided to prepare proposed draft Codex Guidelines for Packing Media for Canned Vegetables and proposed draft Codex Standards for Canned Citrus Fruits, Canned Tomatoes, Canned Tomato Concentrate, Canned Vegetables, Insam (Ginseng), Jams, Jellies and Marmalades and Soy Sauce for circulation, comment and further consideration at its next meeting;
- Forwarded methods of analysis for processed fruits and vegetables to the Codex Committee on Methods of Analysis and Sampling for consideration; and,
- Decided to append its Priority List for the Revision and Standardization of Processed Fruits and Vegetables to its report for comment and continued consideration at its next meeting.
