COMPOSITIONAL STANDARDS - Council Adoption: Directive amending various ‘breakfast directives’
The following is an extract from the Minutes of the Agriculture and Fisheries Council meeting on the 29th April 2024:
Adoption of the legislative act
The Council approved the European Parliament's position at first reading and the proposed act has been adopted pursuant to Article 294(4) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (legal basis: Article 43(2) TFEU).

Update: The Directive has been published in the Official Journal:
- Directive (EU) 2024/1438 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 May 2024 amending Council Directives 2001/110/EC relating to honey, 2001/112/EC relating to fruit juices and certain similar products intended for human consumption, 2001/113/EC relating to fruit jams, jellies and marmalades and sweetened chestnut purée intended for human consumption, and 2001/114/EC relating to certain partly or wholly dehydrated preserved milk for human consumption (OJ L, 2024/1438, 24.5.2024)
