Café Théologique is delighted to welcome Reverend Dr Fiona Haworth, Associate Priest at St Peter Mancroft, Norwich, to discuss her PhD research into the theology of human-canine relationships.
In this session we will be exploring how humans and dogs have co-evolved over many years, the role of dogs in sacred scripture, whether dogs are part of the Christian project of salvation, and the ethics around how animals should be treated.
Fiona is a member of the Iona Community and is committed to working for justice, peace and the integrity of creation. Alongside her role as Associate Priest, she is also Coordinator of the Ministry Experience Scheme in the Diocese.
