Event Information
Social media is a great way to engage with the world. Estimates suggest 10-20% of the world population live with disabilities. In order to communicate to the largest possible audience, your social media posts need to be accessible to all including people with disabilities who may use assistive technology to access content. This session will help you to understand digital accessibility basics and how you can apply these to social media. This is aimed at staff and students at the University (especially for those who post content on the University official social media channels).
This session is part of the Global Accessibility Awareness Day Celebrations at the University of Reading.
