Event Information
If you have an idea for a business that you’d someday like to turn into a reality, signups are now open for Henley Centre for Entrepreneurship's Introduction to IDEAFEST Workshop 2024! If you’re unfamiliar with it, this workshop is a session where you can find out everything that goes into creating a winning entry for IDEAFEST, the University of Reading’s annual student business idea competition. There is up to £1,000 up for grabs for the winner to fund their business idea, along with mentoring from business experts, so it’s well worth getting involved and kickstarting your entrepreneurial journey. This workshop will provide you with some valuable insights into how to submit a great IDEAFEST entry, covering what goes into generating a business idea and how to take the first steps towards validating it. It will also include tips from members of the IDEAFEST judging panel and former competition winners, sharing their guidance on how to make your business idea really stand out. The workshop will be held at 1:00pm on 24th January 2024, both in person in room G15 of the Henley Business School building, Whiteknights campus, and online via Microsoft Teams. For those that attend in person, refreshments will be provided.
