Over the Spring vacation, the opening hours of our services will be changing. However, do not worry! You will still be able to access the help and support you need during this time.
We have provided a summary of the opening hours of our services so you will know how and when you will be able to access the support you need.

Student Services over the Spring Vacation
The Accommodation team will remain open from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday. The office will be closed on weekends and Bank holidays

Campus Jobs will be closed from 17 April and will return on 22 April.
Campus Jobs can be contacted by email at campusjobs@reading.ac.uk. Emails will only be responded to once the team have are back in office. The team phone number will not be in use during the closure time.
Below is information about the different catering and food outlets closing times during the Spring Vacation:
Bars and Dining
Park eat will be closed from the 29 March and will re-open on the19 April for food only. The bar will reopen on 22 April
Eat at the square will be closed from the 29 March and will re-open as normal on 22 April
Wantage will be closed from the 29 March and will re-open for breakfast and lunch only on 21 April. It will reopen fully on 22 April
St Patricks will be closed from the 29 March and will re-open as normal on 19 April
The diary will open Mon-Fri 8am-4pm (only bar & deli open) from 31 march-18 April. Closed on weekends from 29 March until 19 April when normal hours resume
Cafes
The Library café will have reduced working hours from 31 March (Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm, closed weekends inc. 29, 30 Mar) and will be closed from 17-22 April
Dol Che Vita will have reduced working hours from 31 March (Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, closed weekends) and will be closed from 17-22 April
The Henley Business School café will be closed from the 17 April and will re-open on the22 April
Trilobite will be closed from the 29 March and will re-open as normal on 22 April
Breakfast box will close on the 29 March and will be permanently closed
Agriculture Cafe will be closed from the 29 March and will re-open on the22 April
TVSP & Enterprise will be closed from the 17 April and will re-open as normal on 22 April
Counselling and Wellbeing will be closed from 17 April to 22 April
Usual working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Additional support over the period is available via the 24-7 Support Line and Wisdom App support line open every day including bank holidays.

The Hall Wardens will be operating an on-call system on the closure and bank holiday dates. (17-22 April)
Students can still call the 24/7,365 operational halls hotline on 0800 029 1984 or Security on 0118 378 6300 and if appropriate those teams will call out the duty Warden.
The 24/7 Helpline 0800 023 2466 operated by Health Assured is still in operation over the Easter break.
The International Student Advisory Team will be closing at 4pm Wednesday 16 April for the vacation closure period and will resume
work on Tuesday 22 April.

Student Finance will be closed from the 17 April- 22 April but will continue to operate as usual for the reception and financial support outside of the closure dates.
The Student Services Reception will be closed from 17 April and will reopen again on 22 April and operate our normal hours which are 10am to 4pm on weekdays.

The Study Advice will be open for our usual hours 9-5 Mon-Fri when the University is open but will be closed on the University closure days (17-22 April)
The team will continue to offer booked appointments in this vacation period (online and in person) but will not be offering our drop-in service.

The Support Centres will be closed the 17th April and reopen on the 22nd April 2025. The other days over the Spring Vacation the support centres will be open but will close at 4pm rather than 5pm as it is non-teaching time.
