What is the Community Champions scheme?

Community Champions is a student volunteering scheme and part of the RED Award. As a Community Champion, you will spend around 2-4 hours a week (more if you wish) volunteering your skills to support local community organisations in Berkshire. During the coronavirus all volunteering will be completed remotely, using phone, email and online platforms such as Zoom. 

What will you be doing in the role?

You will be helping community organisations remotely with any of the following skills:

• Technical support (using online software such as Zoom and Skype)
• Social media support
• Blog/communications writing
• Translating 
• Logistics support (e.g. helping to plan rotas or arrange deliveries etc)
• Editing video content
