What is the Bulmershe Bursary?
The Bulmershe Bursary supports undergraduates in the department of Film Theatre and Television and provides £1000 to help students from low income backgrounds.
This bursary has been made possible thanks to the generous support of a university donor who is also an alumnus from the department.
Who is eligible to apply?
- A full time UK or EU undergraduate student
- A registered student on the following courses: BA Film & Television; BA Theatre & Performance; BA Film & Theatre; BA English Literature and Film; BA English Literature and Theatre; BA English Literature and Film & Theatre; BA Art and Film; BA Art and Theatre; BA Art and Film & Theatre; BA Creative Writing and Film; BA Creative Writing and Film & Theatre; BA Creative Writing and Theatre
- A permanent resident of the UK or EU
- Assessed by your Student Finance Authority as eligible for financial support and have a household income below £27,000
The bursary is available once per academic year and cannot be awarded to the same person more than once.

The Bursary supports eligible students with a £1,000 grant towards the costs of university life.
