Appointments
The International Student Advisory Team offer appointments in person, via the telephone or on a MS Teams call.
To make an appointment, please log into the RISIS portal and go to the ‘International Student Advisory Team Appointments’ section. Then click on ‘Book a new Appointment with the ISA Team’ and follow the instructions.

This appointment can be booked if you have questions about your visa and your visa conditions, for example:
- Working conditions
- Correcting mistakes on your Visa
- Adding/removing a work placement or Study Abroad year
- Withdrawal of Tier 4/Student visa sponsorship
- Course changes/suspending studies implications
- Graduate route eligibility
- What to do if you have lost your BRP
- Visa application requirements
- Checking a translation/bank statement
Please note that we cannot provide advice on Indefinite Leave to Remain, asylum, work visas (other than the Graduate route), or visas for other countries.
One of our International Student Advisers will answer your queries in a 25-minute appointment.
If you are making a Student or Student dependant visa application, then you should have your application and supporting documents checked by one of our Immigration Advisers.
Book this appointment type with our International Student Experience Manager if you have questions not related to visas and immigration.
This could be for anything that is concerning you, including but not limited to, concerns surrounding fraud, bank accounts, homesickness, healthcare queries, and understanding UK culture.
