Make the most out of living in halls
Our University Halls are a supportive and welcoming community. The team of dedicated Hall Wardens and Mentors are here to support you with your wellbeing, and help create a positive residential experience for students living in halls. Our webpages have advice, support and information to help you make the most of your time in halls.
Helpful resources and key contacts
- We recommend downloading the Home at Halls app, the app allows you to access the full schedule of Halls events, access useful information, provide feedback, register overnight guests and more
- We suggest saving the Halls Hotline number (0800 029 1984) and number for Security (0118 378 6300) in your phone in case you need urgent support at any point during your time in halls. The Security Team can also make contact with the Warden team for ‘in the moment’ support requests
- Our Hall Mentor and Hall Warden team are here to support you during your time in University Halls, and can offer guidance with personal, academic, or accommodation questions you may have. You can email wardens@reading.ac.uk or hallmentors@reading.ac.uk to contact the team, or you can pop into Hall Warden office in St Georges hall, Upper Redlands Road, Reading, RG1 5HZ
