The RED awards are for anyone?
TRUE. Anyone can do the RED Awards. They are open to all students, whether you're an undergraduate, postgraduate or Ph.D. student. Everyone can get involved.
2nd myth
The RED Awards count towards your final university grade?
FALSE. The RED Awards get added to your Diploma Supplement annex once you graduate. They highlight the extracurricular activities that you do alongside your academic qualifications.
3rd myth
The RED Award is more important than the Global Engagement and Sustainable Action Award?
FALSE. All of the awards hold equal importance.
4th myth
You have to complete the RED awards completely independently.
FALSE. The RED Awards have a dedicated team that is here to support you throughout your journey towards achieving the awards.
5TH myth
You can take as much time as you need to complete the awards.
TRUE. You can take as much time as you need to complete the awards as long as you complete by the time you finish your course. We do recommend that you do one of the awards as early in your studies as possible though and we feel they are achievable in one academic year.
