Careers in Media, Marketing & Communications
Internships, placements, and graduate jobs in the marketing sector are very popular among Reading students – and for good reason! It’s an interesting and often rewarding area of work and could take you into industries you’d never thought you’d work in.
Careers in marketing, media, journalism, public relations, and communications provide opportunity to use your creative flair, love for writing, research skills, and your ability to influence and communicate effectively across printed, online and broadcasting channels.
There are lots of different roles available in the sector, in anything from huge multinational organisations to a small start-up business. Employers are interested in students from a wide range of degree disciplines and if you’re interested in freelancing or starting your own business, there’s certainly scope to do this too.
To help you start to explore this varied sector and gain insight into the career paths of both “young” and established professionals, we are excited to welcome you to join us and our guests for the Explore careers in Marketing, Media & Communications week.
