Glass Bottles

Glass bottles and jars need to be taken to your nearest glass recycling bank on Erleigh Road by Monkey Lounge or at Palmer Park. You can put any colour glass into the bottle bank.

Bulky Waste

You can dispose of large items too big for your bins at the re3 Household Waste and Recycling Centre or you can organise a free collection slot via the Council website.

Food

Any unopened food items within their best before date, can be donated to the Whitley Food Surplus Project via donation points at the Students' Union Welcome Desk. Any out of date food must be unpackaged and put in your food waste bin.
