Areas of interest

I am a clinical psychologist and my primary areas of interest are cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and adolescent anxiety disorders (which include social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, specific phobias, generalised anxiety disorder and separation anxiety disorder).

I am interested in developing our understanding of what causes and maintains anxiety disorders during this developmental phase, as well as improving the effectiveness of treatments for adolescents.

Teaching

  • Undergraduate Year 3 module Personality Disorders
  • Postgraduate, module convenor for Introduction to CBT and Psychological Treatments, and teaching for Psychological Treatments and Development of Psychopathology.
