Undergraduate students
The University of Reading will charge undergraduate home tuition fees (students from UK/Northern Ireland) at the upper limit as set by the UK Government for the relevant academic year.
Following the UK Government’s announcement published on Monday 4 November 2024, and subject to the passing of relevant secondary legislation, the University of Reading home tuition fees for 2025/26 entry will be:
- Bachelors Degree programmes - £9,535 per year for 2025/26 then fixed per year at this fee for the standard duration of your course.
- Integrated Foundation Degree programmes (lab-based subjects) - £9,535 per year for 2025/26 then fixed per year at this fee for the standard duration of your course.
- Integrated Foundation Degree programmes (non-lab-based subjects) - £5,760 for 2025/26 then rising to £9,535 per year for the standard duration of your Bachelors level study.
You can apply for a government tuition fee loan to cover the cost of your degree. If you’re eligible for funding through Student Finance authorities – which most UK students will be – you don’t have to pay any tuition fees upfront. Check your eligibility.
