What is Black Box?

Black Box workshops offer an innovative and highly practical form of training which aims to help individuals reach their perceptive and communicative potential. Our workshops are based around an 8ft cube structure with two open sides - the Black Box - in which a series of images are presented and analysed. Black Box creates a neutral space for you to consider the role of assumptions and preconceptions play in shaping all processes of communication. Expert facilitators then guide your thinking about how to apply this knowledge in your workplace.

Black Box has proved particularly valuable in the fields of Business Communications and in Child Protection Social Work.

'Not your standard death by power point. Unusual, enjoyable and more training should be like this.' - Public sector delegate

Black Box is an active and stimulating form of professional development. We have no classroom atmosphere and no PowerPoint presentations. We believe training should be live and responsive.
