Further Information on Tuition Fees

If your programme is longer than 12 months in duration you can find further information on the tuition fees that you will need to pay in your second and subsequent years of study below:

If you have been assessed as a Home student for fees purposes

Undergraduate programmes:

The fees quoted in your offer letter are for the academic year in which you will be starting your programme. Fees for subsequent years of the programme will remain fixed at this rate if study is completed within the normal duration of the programme. (If your course involves a work placement or study abroad the fees for this year will be different)

Postgraduate Masters 2-year full-time and 2-year part-time programmes:

The fees quoted in your offer letter are for the academic year in which you will be starting your programme. Fees for the second year of the programme will remain fixed at this rate if study is completed within the normal duration of the programme.

Postgraduate Masters modular part-time programmes (longer than 2 years duration):

The fees quoted in your offer letter are the module costs for the academic year in which you will be starting the programme. Fees for subsequent years will remain fixed at this rate if study is completed within the normal duration of the programme.

Postgraduate Masters 18 months/ 2-year full time with study at a partner institution overseas:

The fees quote in your offer letter will confirm if they are the same each year or if there are different fees payable to the partner institution.  Your offer will also confirm if fees are paid to both institutions or just one of the institutions.

Postgraduate PhD full-time and part-time Programmes:

The fees quoted in your offer letter are for the current academic year and apply to the first year only. Fees for subsequent years may be subject to an annual increase.

 

If you have been assessed as an Overseas student for fees purposes:

Undergraduate programmes:

The fees quoted in your offer letter are for the current academic year. Fees for subsequent years of the programme will remain fixed at this rate if study is completed within the normal duration of the programme. (If your course involves a work placement or study abroad the fees for this year will be different)

Postgraduate Masters 2-year full-time and 2-year part-time programmes:

The fees quoted in your offer letter are for the current academic year. Fees for the second year of the programme will remain fixed at this rate if study is completed within the normal duration of the programme.

Postgraduate Masters modular part-time programmes (longer than 2 years duration):

The fees quoted in your offer letter are the module costs for the academic year in which you will be starting the programme. Fees for subsequent years will remain fixed at this rate if study is completed within the normal duration of the programme.

Postgraduate Masters 18 months/ 2-year full time with study at a partner institution overseas:

The fees quote in your offer letter will confirm if they are the same each year or if there are different fees payable to the partner institution.  Your offer will also confirm if fees are paid to both institutions or just one of the institutions.

Postgraduate full-time and part-time PhD Programmes:

The fees quoted in your offer letter are for the current academic year. Fees for subsequent years of the programme will remain fixed at this rate if study is completed within the normal duration of the programme (3 years full-time).
