Further Information for Criminal Conviction Declarations
As part of our duty of care to applicants and existing students, we need to know if you have a relevant criminal conviction that is not spent.
If you are in any doubt as to whether a conviction is relevant, please select 'Yes' on your application and we will contact you for further information. Answering 'Yes' will not automatically exclude you from consideration for a place at the University of Reading.
The definition of 'relevant' convictions in this context is as follows:
- those involving any kind of violence;
- offences concerning the intention to harm or resulting in actual bodily harm;
- the unlawful supply of controlled drugs or substances where the conviction concerns commercial drug dealing or trafficking;
