  • Description
Overshoes for a pony would be strapped around the pony’s hooves. Known as ‘lawn shoes’.
These overshoes, for a pony, are made of leather. They would have been strapped around the pony’s hooves and fastened with the buckles. These overshoes were known as ‘lawn shoes’ as they were worn to prevent the hooves damaging the lawn when horses or ponies were used in mowing.
