Description
This is the top part of a pony trap saddle, made of leather with khaki-coloured padding, with two metal terrets - rings through which the reins would pass.

59/388–59/419 were donated to MERL by ‘W. & G. Hales // Later E. Hales Saddler (Brown) & Harness Makers // Sports, travel and Leather Goods Stores’ of 29 Kingston Road, Wimbledon, London.
