This scythe blade was originally given to the donor in Lincolnshire, where it had been in an undisturbed loft for 50 years. The maker's name, 'Isaac Nash', is visible on the blade. Isaac Nash & Sons are known to have made tools in Belbroughton, Worcestershire, but it is not known if this scythe blade was made there.
