Description
A firmer chisel, used for general carpentry and joinery work and strong enough to be used with a mallet. It is stamped with the name of the manufacturer, ‘WARD Cast Steel’, and with the name of a previous owner, ‘J. Gill’. The chisel is part of a collection of woodworking and stoneworking tools given to the Museum by Mr Stamp.
