Description
A round medal made of an unknown white material and glass, enclosed in a silver ring. It has an oakleaf design on the front and a relief picture of four cows, two sheep and a pig on the reverse. The medal is housed in a red leather case lined with red velvet and white silk. The medal was made by Thomas Ottley of Birmingham, and was given to Mr William Mason in 1866 at the Birmingham and Midland Counties Exhibition for being the largest purchaser of fat stock.
