Description
This is a tall beer bottle made of yellowy green glass. It was made for St. Anne's Well Brewery in Exeter, Devon. One side is embossed with the words 'ST. ANNE'S WELL BREWERY CO. LTD., EXETER'. The same words are on the lid. The bottle was found by the donor in his father's shed in Ashburton, Devon, while clearing it out after his father's death in 1983. It is one of a number of objects found in the shed by the donor and donated to MERL (object numbers 83/98-83/128).
