J. Petch, for two years running: 1949 and 1950, for having the 'Best Kept Crawler Tractor.' Awards like these and others similar were common in society shows. Other awards could include: 'best of breed' awards, various best farm equipment awards, ploughing and harvesting races. The awards themselves came in the form of cups, tankards, certificates, medals and rosettes.
